About Me

My photo
Point of Departure
Landscape and portrait painter. Working exclusively from sketches and direct observation. My work has evolved from images derived from photographs, to work which avoids the use of photography at all, only using a camera to record the work itself. I live in a historic part of Wiltshire close to Stonehenge, and I would like my work to reflect my knowledge and passion for the landscape, flora and history of this area. My portraits involve sittings with the subject and are a record of these meetings and observations.
